Key Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in new and existing residential buildings Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications Ensure all electrical work meets or exceeds provincial code and safety standards Mentor and supervise apprentices when required Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and homeowners to ensure efficient project completion Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols

Qualifications

Valid Electrical License (Red Seal or Provincial equivalent) Valid G driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work in all weather conditions including extreme cold and heat Minimum 2 years of residential electrical experience Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and local building regulations Experience with production housing, renovations, and custom home projects Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Management and leadership skills
