Overview

Located in Beautiful Canmore, Alberta where work-life balance is a reality. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Denturist to join us at Bow Valley Denture & Implant Centre. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of analog denture fabrication and be committed to delivering high-quality care to our patients. Experience in CAD/CAM is an asset but not required. Willingness to learn CAD/CAM is required. As a Denturist, you will play a crucial role in creating custom dentures and ensuring patient satisfaction through effective communication and technical expertise.

Pay depends on ability and experience.
Out of province applicants welcome and are required to have license to practice in Alberta before starting.

Duties

Assess patients' oral health and determine the need for dentures or other prosthetic devices. Design, fabricate, and repair dentures using appropriate materials and techniques. Collaborate with dental professionals to create treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for designing denture frameworks and components or willingness to learn. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting all procedures and interactions. Provide education to patients regarding denture care and maintenance. Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards.

Skills

Proficiency in clinical techniques related to denture fabrication. Proficiency in laboratory techniques related to denture fabrication. Familiarity with CAD software for designing dental prosthetics or willingness to learn. Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Experience working in a dental office setting, providing insight into patient care processes and collabrating with entire team.
