As a Denturist, you will be responsible for the assessment, design, fabrication, fitting, and adjustment of complete and partial dentures, as well as implant-supported prosthetics. You'll work closely with patients from consultation through to follow-up care, helping restore their confidence and quality of life through expert denture services.
Duties
Conduct patient consultations and oral assessments.
Design and fabricate full and partial dentures, including immediate and overdentures.
Provide relines, rebases, and repairs.
Take accurate impressions and jaw records.
Fit, adjust, and maintain dentures for comfort and function.
Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals when necessary.
Educate patients on denture care and maintenance.
Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Qualifications
Licensed Denturist in the Province of Alberta.
Graduate of an accredited Denturist program.
Strong technical and clinical skills in all areas of denture fabrication and patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, detail-oriented, and professional demeanour.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
