Job Requirements
This position supports the research, teaching, and learning activities of the NWP community by providing library guidance such as demonstrating the use of library catalogue, information resources, research tools including online information databases, reference materials and the internet to students and staff. The Library Technician performs technical aspects of library operations (e.g. catalogue and circulate materials; initiate, maintain and cancel electronic and print subscriptions; etc.), while adhering to and enforcing internal and Institution-wide policies. This position explores options to enhance the user learning experience, as well as investigates and resolves issues that may bar or hinder user access.
