The primary responsibility of this position is to monitor the main floor of the Dr. John Archer Library and Archives during extended hours (10:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m.) during the Fall 2025 Final Exam period. (See below Areas of Responsibilities).
Hours of Work:
Monday, December 8, 2025 to Sunday, December 21, 2025 (10:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m.).
Areas of Responsibility and Typical Duties:
Provide general information to patrons Perform an hourly patron count of the main floor Identify and report any maintenance issues (leaks, overflowing toilet, etc.) to Protective Services Close the Library at 2:00 a.m.
Position Requirements
Candidate must be registered as a student in the current semester (Fall 2025) at the University of Regina Strong attention to detail Ability to deal courteously and tactfully with the Library's clients
Physical Demands Pay Grade CUPE Phase 1 Salary Range $16.30 per hour Status Casual Work Hours
