We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the dental practice's operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a thorough understanding of dental procedures, and the ability to work effectively with both patients and staff.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and optimal patient comfort.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups, acting as a liaison between patients and the dental team.
Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
Level II Dental Assistant Certification (including HARP) is required
3+ years of experience in general or specialty dental practice (required)
Experience with digital x-rays (required)
Knowledge of Maxidentsoftware is an asset
Speaking Dari, Pashto, Spanish, or Somali is a strong asset
