Opportunity Summary

ATAC LAW is forward-thinking, fast-growing litigation boutique with offices in Burnaby and Downtown Vancouver. We are looking for an experienced Marketing and Business Development Manager to take the firm's growth to the next level.

In this role, you will be taking over the marketing from the partners, and you will have a great deal of authority to create and implement marketing and business development strategies. This role is suitable only for driven professionals. You will report directly to the partners, of which there are only 2.

The ideal candidate will have experience marketing to the construction, engineering and real estate industries in British Columbia, although related industry experience would also be considered an asset, including experience marketing to insurers. This is our firm's primary business focus.

Additionally, we market to high net worth individuals, including to Chinese and Korean speaking individuals, and experience marketing to these groups would also be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

As business development manager, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities through your existing network, networking, research, and outreach, and you will be rewarded for bringing new business into the firm As marketing manager, you will create and implement specific marketing strategies to target existing and new client markets through multiple channels including SEO, SEM, social media marketing Coordinate and draft legal directory and award submissions Develop and secure speaking opportunities for lawyers Proactively pitch stories, news releases and commentary to media outlets to secure placements in relevant outlets and for publication on the firm's website and social media pages Direct graphic designers and web developers to create relevant media and web pages to support your marketing initiatives

Skills and Qualifications Required

Proven experience in bringing in business. Proven marketing experience across the channels identified above Experience in the professional services industry, and in particular, the legal industry, is considered a further asset. 5+ years of experience in business development / marketing Bachelors degree in business or marketing from a University or a 2 year diploma
