LEGAL BOOKKEEPER POSITIONWe are looking for a legal bookkeeper to provide bookkeeping services for our law firm clients: from entering data to reconciling bank accounts; must be able to complete the accounting cycle up to the Trial Balance.Duties also include HST filing and completion of draft year-end financial statements.REQUIREMENTS:1) Proficiency in COSMOLEX & LEAP practice management software (2-years minimum experience). Must be skillful in COSMOLEX & LEAP, including, but not limited to the following features:
- Billing
- Posting disbursements
- Accounts Payable
- Bank Reconciliation
- Importing bank transactions
- Trust Bank features (Receipts and Disbursements)
- General Bank features (Receipts and Disbursements
- Commensurate with experience
- Both Full-time and Part-time positions available
- Flexible hours
- Hybrid: Work remotely (from home office) and occasionally in office (mostly in Brampton)
- French not required
- Day shift
- Secondary School (preferred)
- QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
- Legal Bookkeeping: 2 years (required)
- English (required)
