Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Law Clerk to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in various legal tasks, drafting documents, and court filing. This role is essential for supporting our legal operations and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up to date.
Duties
Draft legal documents, including motions, statement of claims and mediation memorandums.
Proofread and edit documents for accuracy, grammar, and formatting before submission.
Manage case files using Caselines and My Ontario Account.
Assist with project management tasks related to ongoing cases, including tracking deadlines and coordinating with team members.
Various errands requiring walking and a licence in order to attend hospitals/banks and homes to sign documents.
Experience
Strong writing skills with a focus on drafting and documentation.
Proficiency in proofreading to ensure high-quality output on all written materials.
Familiarity with project management principles to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to manage time efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
