Austring, Fairman & Fekete is a well-established, full service law firm in Whitehorse and we need a Legal Assistant to join our team. This position assists in various departments and areas of law under the direction and review of a lawyer. The duties include transcribing dictation, drafting documents and correspondence, responding to client inquiries, drafting client invoices and general administrative duties such as opening/closing files, filing, photocopying and faxing. Legal assistant/office administration coursework or experience in an administrative position is not required but would be an asset as would experience working in a legal setting. If you have good communication skills, an eye for detail, experience using Microsoft Word and Outlook, and the ability to perform tasks accurately, this job might be for you! This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package including extended health and dental coverage. Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
