Primary responsibilities include:
Screen and manage incoming calls, mail, faxes
Scheduling client meetings and assisting with managing calendars
Drafting and formatting legal correspondence
Drafting, formatting, and filing court documents and materials
Assisting in assembling motion records, books of authorities, appeal and hearing materials
General administrative duties, including but not limited to providing general assistance to the lawyers and legal support team, printing, scanning, copying, binding materials, etc. as directed
Additional responsibilities as directed
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
0-1 year in a law firm as a receptionist/ assistant is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer and technology literacy is required
Proficient with Microsoft Suite, Adobe, and video conferencing platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
Attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Comfortable working both independently and as a team member
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
