Job Description

Stuart W. Henderson Professional Corporation is looking for a full time in office legal assistant. We are looking for a motived, high-energy team player who has the following qualifications:

Minimum of 1 years experience in working in a law office ideally focusing on Real Estate and/or Wills and Estates. High computer proficiency including PC Law and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Unity, Teraview, Lender/Lawyer Connect, Assyst and Lawyer Done Deal would be beneficial but not essential Ability to work independently and take initiative when appropriate. Excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding written and verbal communication.
Responsibilities include:

Assisting with all aspects of residential real estate matters, including drafting documentation, file intake and client communication. Attending at various banks to complete the transfer of closing funds. Supporting other law clerks with the preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney and other Estate matters (experience with Wills and Estates not required as we are willing to train).
