Position: Legal Assistant, Commercial Real Estate
Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid 3 days a week)
Salary: Competitive and dependant on experience
Job Type: PermanentWe are seeking a skilled Legal Assistant with expertise in commercial real estate law to join our client\'s downtown Toronto law firm. The role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to a busy commercial real estate team, focusing on high-profile clients and their development goals.*This position requires previous experience as a Legal Assistant specializing in commercial real estate law with a proficiency using Conveyancer and Teraview.*Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation, editing, and finalization of documents for significant real estate deals, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and joint ventures.
-Act as the main point of contact for clients, organizing meetings, managing communications, and coordinating all client-related activities.
- Handle wire transfers, cheque requisitions, and other financial tasks related to real estate transactions.
- Use Teraview to submit or retrieve transaction-related information.Qualifications:- Minimum of 3 years\' experience as a Legal Assistant specializing in commercial real estate law.
- Proven proficiency with Conveyancer and Teraview.
- Completion of a post-secondary Legal Assistant or Law Clerk program strong nice to have
