As a Legal Administrative Clerk at Monark Ventures Inc., you will play a crucial role in supporting our team in various administrative tasks related to corporate compliance and document management. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Corporate Filings and Compliance:


  • Prepare and submit annual return filings in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain an annual calendar to track annual return deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to collect necessary information and documentation for filings.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel for corporate matters.
  • Monitor and update corporate records to maintain compliance with relevant regulations.

Document Management:

  • Organize and maintain legal documents, contracts, and records in an efficient and secure manner.
  • Assist team in drafting and editing legal documents and correspondence.
  • Ensure all documents are properly filed and accessible to authorized personnel.

Tax Filing Progress Tracking:

  • Monitor and track the progress of tax return filings.
  • Maintain accurate records of tax-related correspondence and deadlines.

Company Formation and Dissolution:

  • Assist in the process of forming new companies, including preparing necessary documents and filings.
  • Handle the dissolution of companies, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Maintain records related to company formation and dissolution activities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in legal studies is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a legal administrative role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with annual requirements for Canadian corporations is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of corporate compliance and tax regulations is a plus.
