Our portfolio of homes for lease in Vancouver, Calgary, Seattle and Toronto is growing fast and we\xe2\x80\x99re hiring a talented Leasing Manager to join our team. A high level of service in hospitality, Property Management and Sales experience are desirable attributes. Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the residential leasing activities in the Toronto portfolio
- Manage and lead the team of Leasing Associates
- Respond to leasing inquiries, securing appointments to view the property and update/record activity
- Prepare and execute leases in accordance with our property standards and government regulations
- Screen prospective tenants to ensure they meet eligibility requirements, including conducting reference background checks and credit checks
- Close sales for leasing unfurnished suites to meet or exceed company goals
- Ensure a positive customer experience by setting precise expectations and informing clients accurately on the leasing process
- Ensure timely and accurate completion and entry of all leasing documentation, including application forms, Tenancy Agreements, and other supporting documentation
- Participate in weekly leasing meetings
- Uphold Westbank Living\xe2\x80\x99s mission, vision, and values serving as a brand and cultural ambassador for our residents, co-workers, vendors, and the public
- Ensure compliance with all legislation
- Minimum of 4 year\xe2\x80\x99s residential leasing experience
- Strong knowledge of the local residential market and leasing principles
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling
- Ability to easily build rapport with prospective clients
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written; professional phone manner; good conflict-resolution skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships
- Passion for excellence in customer service delivery
- Must be able to work some evenings/weekends and statutory holidays
- Advanced knowledge of marketing and social media practices
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Salesforce
- Project a professional image and demeanor
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with smart phone and tablet technology
- Familiarity of DocuSign, Yardi Voyager, Rent Caf\xc3\xa9, and Rent Caf\xc3\xa9 CRM
