Eligibility Note: To qualify for a student (Co-op/Internship) opportunity, students must be enrolled in their academic studies at a post-secondary institution (university/college) and must be returning to school after completion of their work term with QuadReal. If you are a student registered in an official co-op program at your post-secondary institution and completion of a final work term is a mandatory component for you to graduate, you are eligible to apply with the understanding that you will leave QuadReal at the end of your work term or have the possibility to be considered for full-time opportunities. Based in Toronto, the Co-op/Intern, Leasing & Investment Management will report to the Senior Vice President, Investment Management & Vice President Leasing. They will support QuadReal\xe2\x80\x99s Eastern Canada Office team by conducting market research, new development tracking, assisting in the reporting and lease deal approval process along with participating in leasing and asset management tours. This portfolio currently equals 7 Million Square Feet and has a Future Development Pipeline of 3 Million Square Feet.

What You Will Experience:
  • You will work with the Leasing & Investment Management team to analyze potential lease transactions that align with budget targets and strategic plans, as laid out in the asset level business plans
  • You will gather market research for deal/building comparables for competitive buildings to each asset in the office portfolio
  • You will assist in the creation of quarterly, monthly, and annual reporting & presentations for the Eastern Canada Office Team
  • You will participate in leasing, property, and asset management tours & or events when appropriate
  • You will participate in contributing to Marketing Strategies for various repositioned assets, vacant suites and contribute to marketing initiatives to the brokerage community
  • You will assist in preparing virtual sales packages for vacant spaces and RFP response packages for prospective tenants
  • You will be responsible for building upon and creating a development pipeline report for the DT Toronto market
  • You will work closely in support of the investment management team on driving value creation strategies and development projects, inclusive of various financial analyses supported with market intelligence

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Bring:
  • Currently enrolled in an academic Business program preferably in Real Estate or Finance.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; detail-oriented and proficient in building and handling complicated data sets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate and present results that articulate key themes and messages.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; knowledge of Argus Enterprise a plus.
  • Previous experience working within a real estate company, real estate brokerage or sales/leasing experience is desirable. A strong interest in developing a career within real estate is essential.
