POSITION SUMMARY:
Lexington Park is looking for a highly motivated individual to be responsible for the professional administration and leasing of its residential portfolio. As the key point of contact with potential tenants, the Leasing Coordinator will provide housing options, answer questions and close agreements. This position reports directly to the Leasing Manager.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Perform unit inspections to prepare unit for advertisement and leasing.
Responsible for the collection of marketing material, including but not limited to professional photos, virtual tours and marketing boards.
Responsible to post, and keep detailed and up to date, advertisements regarding available rental units within the portfolio.
Professionally and courteously handle all current and prospective residential inquiries, feedback, complaints or concerns, and escalate issues as necessary to the Leasing Manager.
Greet prospective tenants and answer any questions regarding rental location and units.
Conduct property tours and show vacant rental units to potential tenants.
Ensure all potential tenants leave the property with thorough knowledge of property benefits and rental availability if they are not able to sign the lease at that time.
Ensure a high level of resident satisfaction is achieved through constant and consistent attention, including the transfer of the tenant to the Property Manager.
Create and host promotional and sponsorship events.
Adhere to Lexington Park leasing standards and protocols.
Weekly reporting and communication with Leasing Manager, including but not limited to market rent analysis, lead generation reporting, leasing and occupancy reporting.
Other duties as required by the Leasing Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Secondary School Graduation diploma or 2 years related work experience
Previous experience in a sales and/or customer service role (rental industry leasing preferred).
Ability to multitask, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude
Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both oral and written
Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle at all times
ASSETS:
Experience with Yardi software
Ability to speak two or more languages
Familiarity with Ontario standardized lease agreement and/or contract law
Post-secondary degree (focus in Real Estate or Business preferred)
