About the Opportunity

Reporting the Manager - Real Estate, the Leasing Consultant is responsible for ensuring real estate requirements of the program are met in an efficient and effective manner while also abiding the Strategic Directions of Nova Scotia Health. Responsibilities of the Leasing Consultant include but are not limited to; leading and evaluating contract negotiations for lease extensions, creating select 3rd party lease agreements, ensuring that all current lease agreements, amendments and other service contract information are scanned, stored centrally and accessible to appropriate staff, and assists with the development and evaluation of overall Nova Scotia Health new lease requirements including room lists, operational requirements and links to standardized design guidelines.

The Leasing Consultant is also expected build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships and managing negotiated Service Level Agreements with the Manager of Real Estate and external partners. Engagement with external stakeholders is essential in understanding the market for lease acquisitions.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • A Bachelor\'s Degree is required
  • 4 years related experience in Real Estate, Real Estate Law, business administration, property management or a related field
  • Professional education in Real Estate or property management considered an asset
  • Computer skills including all Microsoft Office programs; CAD software considered an asset
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours
  • Permanent, full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly
Compensation and Incentives

$35.27 - $44.09 Hourly
