We are seeking a professional and personable Leasing Associate to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing leasing activities, fostering positive customer relationships, and supporting the overall operations of our property portfolio. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with property management software such as Rent Manager. The Leasing Associate plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless leasing process while providing exceptional service to prospective and current residents.
Responsibilities
Property Promotion:
Showcasing properties to potential tenants through tours and presentations.
Providing detailed information about the property and its amenities.
Utilizing various marketing strategies to attract prospective tenants.
Posting & updating content on various marketing channels.
Conducting viewings across the portfolio
Tenant Acquisition:
Responding to inquiries from potential tenants via phone, email, or in-person.
Assessing tenant needs and matching them with suitable properties.
Processing rental applications and conducting background checks.
Facilitating lease signings and ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
Tenant Management:
Conducting Move-in/out and maintaining records appropriately
Handling lease renewals and ensuring a smooth process.
Developing and implementing strategies to retain tenants.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintaining accurate records of lease agreements and related documents.
Preparing reports on vacancies, occupancy rates and lease renewals.
Conduct comparative market analysis to determine rental rates.
Utilizing property management software and CRM systems.
Update daily activity report, leases, cancellations, transfers, renewals, etc.
Qualifications
Valid driver's license with a clean abstract (Mandatory)
Prior experience with property management software is highly preferred
Office experience or administrative background is advantageous
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
Sales experience or aptitude for sales techniques beneficial for leasing activities
Excellent communication skills including professional phone etiquette
Knowledge of property management practices and CMMS systems is a plus
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy in data entry and filing
Proven negotiation skills to facilitate lease agreements effectively
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
