We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic lease-up team! In this role, you will be instrumental in facilitating leasing activities, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for prospective tenants, and maintaining strong relationships with current residents. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with a proactive and collaborative approach, possess strong sales and customer service skills, and have exceptional organizational abilities. Prior leasing experience is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:



Efficiently manage a calendar of scheduled showings and application appointments. Prepare show suites and rental properties for presentation, and conduct tours for prospective residents, highlighting all property amenities. Collect and review applications for submission to the Resident Manager. Collect deposits and ensure all necessary documentation is submitted to the Resident Manager. Answer inquiries, follow up with prospects, and guide them through the leasing process. Collaborate with the property management team to ensure comprehensive customer service, smooth operations, and maintenance of property standards. Adhere to company policies, safety programs, and work-alone procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Leasing experience is required. Strong sales and customer service experience is required. Highly organized, detail oriented with a self-motivated and proactive approach to work. Strong proficiency in MS Office applications; familiarity with property management software (Yardi is an asset). Familiarity with Residential Tenancies Act is preferred. Experience with unit inspections is a plus. Clear criminal record check is required. Child abuse registry check is required. Valid Class 5 driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle conflict in a calm, professional manner. Availability to work Saturdays from 11am - 5pm is required, along with a minimum commitment of 12hrs per week. Additional shifts can be selected from the following options: Sunday 12pm - 3pm, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday 4:30pm - 7:30pm. Once chosen, shifts are fixed.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
