Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Leasing Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for real estate and providing exceptional service to prospective tenants.

Responsibilities:

Create the advertisements Compile and update listings of available rental units on various internet sites. When permitted, a For Rent sign is installed.
-lightly stage vacant units, take professional photos with your phone and share them with the office. Remove the staging after renting and return to the office.

Through effective communication, qualify prospective residents to determine their needs and suitability as candidates. Follow up on leads for potential tenants. Conduct in-person tours of available properties to potential tenants Assist prospective tenants in completing a leasing application and securing a deposit. Review applications for completion before submitting to the office.
-perform move in inspections, written and digital, check smoke alarm devices and share keys with the new tenants.

Collaborate with the property management team to advise of maintenance issues required to expedite the rental.
-share rental update reports daily.

Meet and exceed rental targets and other key performance indicators Maintain a positive atmosphere and represent the company professionally. Assisting the Property Manager as required Carry out other duties and/or procedures as required.

Qualifications:

A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. Exceptional sales skills minimum 10 years experience. Strong interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and outgoing personality Superior organizational and time management abilities
-Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel

A go-getter with a positive attitude Attention to detail Excellent customer service skills, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines Can work with minimal supervision Flexible schedule and available to work some days, evenings and weekends Self starter with high degree of initiative, creativity and flexibility Experience with leasing apartments or selling condominiums would be an asset but is not required. College/University Diploma preferred An understanding of the landlord and tenant act, including laws, policies, and best practices would be beneficial. Must have a newer cell phone capable of taking quality photos.
