Who you are

We are looking for a self-starter who has sales and customer service experience. They realize the job consists of a Tuesday - Saturday 10 am - 6 pm schedule and are comfortable to offer support on evenings and weekends. A workstation and a full set of resources are available to ensure the ability to complete the job.

Reporting to an on-site Property Manager, responsibilities will include:

- Living on site in a suite at 30 Bison Dr. The value of the suite will be included as part of the salary.

- Have a confident grasp of English both written and spoken.

- Participate and excel as a member of Houston Properties team.

- Assist in maintaining a portfolio of 334 units in the South Winnipeg area.

- Enjoy selling to ensure suites are rented out. Demonstrating why Bison Pointe is a premier location with apartments that provide the type of luxury people expect.

- Complete incoming and outgoing suite condition reports to ensure new residents can rely on a clean and well-maintained home.

- Provide quality ongoing customer service to existing residents to ensure their home is a place of joy and comfort.

- Utilize phone and computer systems to maintain an organized work life.

- Demonstrate diplomacy and good judgement without forgoing the best interests of Houston Properties. Help us to maintain our top-ranking Google reviews.

- Have a familiarity of the Residential Tenancies policies, and work with others in our office to ensure residents manage themselves in a responsible manner.

- Completing resident application checks and paperwork for incoming and outgoing tenancies.

- Promptly responding to and solving resident matters.

- Have familiarity of suite maintenance and support our maintenance team to make sure all units are in good condition.

- Adhere to Houston Properties policies and guidelines.

- Anything else we can think of.

The fine print

This is a full-time position.

As this is a live in position, salary paid biweekly will depend on experience and fall within a 30,000-32,000 range. In addition the position includes a rent free suite in 30 Bison Dr. We offer a health spending package, RRSP contributions, paid leave, and a company phone.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned Sales and Service Professional. They will maintain a driver's license and vehicle. This can be a physically demanding position and the candidate must be able to meet demands such as lifting supplies, utilizing standard cleaning supplies, and climbing a ladder. They must also be comfortable with computer systems such as word, excel and rent manager. They must not have a criminal or RTB record.
