Position Overview

The Leasing Agent supports all aspects of the leasing process--from handling inquiries and coordinating tours to preparing documentation and assisting with move-ins. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and brings strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Attend weekly, monthly, and bi-yearly team meetings
- Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
- Schedule and confirm property tours; support the move-in process
- Assist the Leasing Manager with administrative and operational tasks
- Prepare and process leasing applications, agreements, and related documents
- Maintain accurate records in Buildium property management software
- Follow up with leads and manage CRM tracking
- Collect and verify applicant documentation
- Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams on unit readiness
- Maintain professional communication and exceptional customer service
- Support tenant retention and lease renewal efforts

Required Qualifications

- 1 or 2 years of experience in sales (leasing experience is asset)
- Experience in property management, administration, or customer service is an asset
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with property management software and CRMs is an asset
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Availability to work flexible hours or weekends as needed

Preferred Skills

Previous leasing or real estate experience
Knowledge of residential tenancy laws and leasing procedures
