What You'll Do:

As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for managing the full leasing lifecycle for a designated portfolio of properties. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that includes tenant communication, coordinating showings, screening applicants, preparing leases, and collaborating closely with internal teams.

Key responsibilities include:

Obtain property photos and video walk-throughs for new and upcoming rental listings Prepare and submit rental listing details internally for approval, including proposed pricing Manage and monitor online marketing for rental listings across multiple platforms Respond to rental inquiries via phone, email, and messaging platforms in a timely, professional manner Manage prospective tenant interactions and collect complete rental application packages Coordinate and conduct showings for qualified prospective tenants (including evenings and weekends as needed) Complete applicant screening and background checks in accordance with company standards Prepare lease agreements and ensure accuracy of documentation and supporting records Communicate property observations, tenant-related concerns, and trends noticed during site visits to internal team members Develop a strong understanding of Kingston's rental market trends (and surrounding markets where applicable) Any other tasks reasonably related to the position, as may be assigned by the Employer.

Scheduling note:

Rental showings in Ontario may take place between 8:00 a.m and 8:00 p.m, seven days a week. While you would not be expected to conduct showings throughout that entire window every day, evening and weekend availability is required. Axon's office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

This role is primarily based in Kingston, Ontario; however, the Leasing Agent will be required to support leasing activities across Axon Property Management's broader portfolio, including surrounding areas such as Napanee, Lansdowne, and Belleville.

What We're Looking For:

Our ideal candidate is personable, open-minded, adaptable, and able to get tasks done. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and confident communicating with prospective tenants while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.

The ideal candidate will have:

Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset Excellent organization and follow-through (ability to manage multiple listings and applicants at once) Comfort working both independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail (especially with applications, screening, and lease documentation) A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for work purposes (required) Experience in leasing, property management, or sales is an asset but is not necessary.

Compensation & Benefits:

This position offers a competitive base salary with performance-based incentives. Total annual compensation is expected to range between $50,000 and $60,000, depending on experience and performance.

As part of our total compensation package, the employee is also entitled to the following:
