Limestone Property Management is hiring an enthusiastic and professional Leasing Agent to join our growing team! Limestone Property Management is one of the leading Property Management firms in Kingston with properties in Kingston, Napanee, Gananoque, and Belleville. The Leasing Agent is one of our most forward-facing positions and as such the successful candidate will possess high-level customer service skills, the successful applicant will be one that emulates our company's core values in their day-to-day work. The Leasing Agent will ensure properties are maintained effectively, market properties, and screen prospective tenants. The Leasing Agent will preserve favorable relations with property owners and tenants, contribute to a positive atmosphere in the office, and portray a positive image of the company in their activities. The successful applicant will balance the needs of property owners with those of tenants and achieve occupancy and rental goals. Top applicants are sales-oriented, proficient multitaskers, organized, can work well under pressure, and have strong people skills. During peak rental season, flexible schedule and overtime hours will be required. This position includes the use of a company vehicle and fuel. You will also be provided with a company cell phone as well as branded apparel. Responsibilities

  • Providing prospective tenants with an enhanced leasing experience
  • Showing and leasing of available units in a timely manner
  • Completion of leasing documentation in accordance with company protocols and reporting deadlines
  • Coordinating key and lockbox pickups
  • Move-in inspections
  • Assisting in office work as needed in the Leasing Department
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a similar leasing or customer service role
  • Sales experience is considered an asset
  • Completion of a post-secondary education with designation or certificates in property management is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of the Kingston Rental Market is considered an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Ability to work independently including occasional evenings, and weekends (schedule is flexible to accommodate evening and weekend showings)

  • Comfortable and adaptable with technology
  • Must have a valid driver?s license
