We are currently looking to expand our team with the addition of a motivated and dedicated individual to fill the role of Property Manager. As a Leasing Agent, you will play a key role in ensuring our residential properties are leased efficiently and professionally. You will be responsible for marketing vacant units, conducting showings, screening prospective tenants, preparing lease documentation, and providing excellent service to tenants and property owners. This is a hybrid role with flexibility to balance remote administrative work and in-person showings.
Regular business hours are 8:00am-5:00pm, with occasional evenings and weekends required to accommodate showings and tenant needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Market and lease residential rental units, including:
Creating and posting rental listings
Responding to inquiries and coordinating showings
Conducting property showings
Screening prospective tenants and reviewing applications
Collecting required documentation and facilitating approvals
Preparing and executing lease agreements
Conduct move-in and move-out inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports
Maintain accurate leasing records and documentation
Communicate professionally with tenants and prospective tenants throughout the leasing process
Coordinate with the property management team regarding unit readiness, maintenance, and turnovers
Assist with tenant relations and ensure compliance with lease terms and company policies
Provide exceptional customer service to both tenants and property owners
Other duties as required to support the growth and success of the company
Qualifications
Experience in leasing, property management, real estate, or a related customer-facing role is an asset
Knowledge of the Nova Scotia Residential Tenancies Act and Regulations is considered a strong asset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines
Professional, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
