The Opportunity:
The Learning Solutions & Communications Coordinator will report to the National Corporate Trainer and will be responsible for delivering our corporate onboarding program, maintaining our LMS and the content that resides in it, maintaining the Learning & Development Page, and liaising with various business partners while supporting various learning & development initiatives as needed.
A Day in the Life (What you will do here):
Schedule, enroll and track attendance of all training programs, including but not limited to new hire onboarding
Support all new hires during their onboarding stage with FAQs and resources
Manage the assignment, compliance, and progression of the company's Annual Training Program
Facilitate learning sessions in person and virtually when required
Work collaboratively with the Learning & Development team to address learning gaps and needs as required
Primary contact in preparation for and during audits relating to training records
Connect with various business partners across Sentrex to gather and share unique stories and best practices related to learning and development and Sentrex, helping foster a learning culture
Write and edit content, and coordinate communication posts on the L&D Page
Establish and maintain strong relationships with various business partners and leaders
Provide additional support as required
What you need to ensure you are set up for success:
Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business, HR, Adult Learning, or a related field
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
Strong learning skills with a growth mindset
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles
Strong ability to adapt to change and learn on the spot
Excellent technical skills
Experience in creating pages/news posts/communications in SharePoint
Experience with learning management systems
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work with a strong sense of urgency
Advanced writing skills for articles and communications
Strong communication and facilitation skills
Effective organizational skills; excellent attention to detail
Effective interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with Management and Associates
Excellent problem-solving skills: ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise, etc.), Canva, and Microsoft Office applications
Passionate about People Development
Bilingual (French and English) will be considered an asset
