Position Title Learning & Development Specialist
Required Qualifications

• Master\'s degree desired; may include - but is not restricted to - Master\'s degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Distributed Learning, Educational Technology.

• A Bachelor\'s degree with specialization in one or more of the above areas will be considered.

• Minimum five years\' experience in curriculum development at the course and program level.
• Demonstrated success in developing and delivering online courses.
• Familiarity with principles of outcomes-based curriculum and related assessment strategies is also required.
• Highly developed abilities in the areas of interpersonal communication, team effectiveness, and group facilitation are essential.
• A working knowledge of current learning technologies and their effective integration in the teaching-learning process is required.
• Must be committed to working in a dynamic team environment which requires close collaboration with personnel and faculty from across the institution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Significant and successful teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
• Awareness of project management skills, a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation would be an asset.

Keyano College Research, Learning and Innovation department is currently seeking a Learning & Development Specialist who will work in collaboration with training staff, and with other members of the college, to design and develop curriculum for online, blended, and traditional delivery.

The responsibilities of the position are as follows:

• Assist in the design and development of courses and programs;
• Provide consulting support to subject matter experts engaged in curriculum development;
• Guide the development of learning outcomes, course outlines, learning activities, and assessment instruments;
• Monitor, assess, revise, and provide constructive feedback on the work of subject matter experts;
• Develop and conduct workshops on curriculum development, instructional design, and various topics related to teaching and learning;
• Develop resources to support curriculum design and development for online and blended delivery.

Advertised Salary Faculty salary range is $71,785.48 to $121,523.99 per annum. Placement on the salary grid is reflective upon educational and experiential qualifications. Keyano College also offers an attractive health and benefits package.
