Primary Function:
As a member of the Human Resources Department and reporting to the Manager, Learning and Development, the Learning Designer's primary responsibility is the design and development of impactful learning content at TRIUMF supporting technical, safety, and behavioural needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:Partnering with internal experts to design and develop engaging, learner-focused content Conducting needs assessments to identify learning gaps and recommend effective solutions Translating complex information into accessible, outcome-driven learning experiences Designing and developing blended learning solutions (eLearning, classroom, self-paced, field-based) Managing end-to-end learning design projects, from analysis to implementation and evaluation Uploading and maintaining course content on the Learning Management System (LMS) Coordinating logistics and supporting the delivery of learning workshops and online events Troubleshooting technical issues related to course materials and platforms Continuously evaluating and refining learning experiences to ensure effectiveness and impact

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:A degree in Education, Sociology, Human Behaviour, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 3-5 years of experience designing and developing learning content for adults Proven ability to apply adult learning principles to various delivery formats Hands-on experience with LMS platforms such as Workday Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a sharp eye for detail Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; a true team player Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with a focus on outcomes Knowledge of project management practices is an asset

Applicants must be legally able to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident).
Salary: $74,630 per annum plus our comprehensive benefits
