Learning and Development Coordinator

Aversan Inc. ( ) is a reputable Engineering Company that provides expertise in Systems Integration and Software Testing for industries including Digital Health, Medical Devices, IT and Aerospace. We are currently seeking a qualified Learning and Development Coordinator to work on leading-edge technology products. The successful candidate for this full-time position will be a part of a highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.

Location: Toronto, ON
Schedule: HYBRID (4 days a week in office)

Description
The Learning and Development Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the delivery and co-ordination of annual client URS NORAM Learning and Development, trainings, events, programs, and projects. This role will manage and support the operations, logistics, learning outcomes, employee experience, communications, and event coordination for a variety of training programs. This position will work closely with the URS NORAM Learning team and support the teams\' continuous improvement initiatives and projects.

Responsibilities.

  • Administer the company-wide learning and development programs through the Cornerstone Learning Management System (LMS), including the administration of digital learning licenses, LMS user accounts, LMS messaging and branding, LMS engagement capabilities, enrollment, and reporting. 2024 training plan is fully done so now we need support of the execution of the plans/coordination.
  • Perform all administrative and logistical tasks associated with the overall execution of the annual training plan, leadership programs and learning campaigns. ULearn- branding for cornerstone - cornerstone training experience is needed to run reports/create sessions, create digital contents.
  • Collaborate with the Procurement team to source and assess various suppliers, drive cost savings while maintaining the quality of the learning offer.
  • Work with the Finance team to manage, monitor and report department expenses, ensuring contract approvals and invoices are processed in a timely manner. *Procurement and Finance team
  • Compile and develop reports and dashboards as required - maintaining accurate training records, analyzing evaluation data and monitoring costs. - Process is set so the hiring manager will guide her and support her.
  • Support the implementation and execution of digital learning strategy for Client URS NORAM L&D to build awareness and enhance understanding of Learning opportunities and learning culture strategy across the region.
  • Manage the central mailbox for the L&D team and be the first point of contact for all general learning and development inquiries.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the team.
Basic Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor\'s degree in human resources management or a related field with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of training techniques, training models and learning theories.
  • Experience monitoring and tracking budget; experience in a training department. (Excel spreadsheet monitoring for budget- updating excel file for the budget)
  • Experience with Learning Management System (Cornerstone on Demand strongly preferred).
  • Intermediate level Excel is required - important.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to deal with tact and diplomacy with all levels of the organization.
  • Must be good at time management and be comfortable working remotely.
  • Strong orientation towards positive customer experience
  • Basic Project Management skills (managing a training)
  • Must be flexible and able to manage multiple tasks and handle changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and analytical skills in determining which matters require immediate attention and escalation procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Skills in survey design, development, and analysis. Ability to present survey results to a variety of stakeholders in a clear and compelling way.
  • Skills with digital learning tools such as articulate storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate etc.
