BIOVECTRA Inc. is a leading bio-science business in Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia, focused on contract manufacturing and product development of active pharmaceutical ingredients, pharmaceutical intermediates, and bioreagents.

BIOVECTRA Inc. has an opening for a Learning and Development Associate. This is a full-time permanent position located in Charlottetown, PEI.

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing and delivery of instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, and e-learning training courses in collaboration with departments, across the organization.
• Producing and facilitating learning experiences for BIOVECTRA\xe2\x80\x99s Leadership team.
• Ideating and building development strategies for current employees, including training curriculums meant to advance learners towards growth and promotional opportunities.
• Managing and developing training materials and training structures across the organization.
• Setting training goals and targets at the group level, the site level, and the individual level.
• Leading regular team meetings alongside the Trainer\xe2\x80\x99s for each site to make sure trainers are meeting targets, and are providing accurate updates on progress, challenges, and successes.
• Assigning training material tasks as needed, and participates in hands-on training when necessary.
• Responsible for ensuring that the vast majority of onboards successfully complete training in a timely manner to provide the teams with the resources they need, when they need them.
• Collaborating with departmental teams to identify needs, challenges, gaps and builds training strategies accordingly.
• Empowering SMEs across the organization to take control and develop eLearning training material.
• Building team trust and foster a respectful, efficient team atmosphere.
• Overseeing learning and development activities and ongoing projects alongside the Director, Organizational Development.
• Analyzing current processes and systems and make changes, set new goals, and lead new initiatives at the site level, the training group level, and the individual level.

The successful candidate for this position should have:

• Post-Secondary Degree, Diploma or Certification.
• Post-Secondary training in Adult Education.
• Four years of professional experience in learning and development with experience in content authoring, e-learning development, and facilitation.
• Knowledge of learning and development in a manufacturing (preferably cGMP) environment.
• Knowledge of Adult Education and Learning Principles.
• Ability to build, develop, manage and facilitate training programs and materials.
• Working knowledge of online and e-learning platforms and techniques.
• Familiar in LMS and QMS tools and communication platforms (Ceridian Dayforce, Microsoft 365, Easygenerator, SCORM, MasterControl).

Entry:$53,000 Annually, salary experience based.
