THE ROLE
As a Learning Advisor, you are responsible for designing and developing learning solutions across different learning methods including webinars, presentations, e-learning and job aids. You will work directly with the business to provide advice on learning objectives, analyze expectations of target audiences, define learning objectives, develop detailed plans and design learning activities by suggesting the appropriate learning solution. You will assist with planning and coordinating activities, content validation and outcome tracking.
The Learning Advisor also researches learning and training methodologies to recommend learning solutions that will meet the requirements and audience needs. You will make recommendations for adjustments to the programs by monitoring learning initiatives and by assisting in the development of measurement tools.
This is an expert role in the department of Data and Information Management, working as a team where you will exercise your knowledge and skills on a daily basis working directly with the business.
The ideal candidate will process some experience and/or interest in Data and Information Management as the learning solutions will directly target onboarding, best practices and change management in this area of work.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Human Resources, Adult Education, Training and Development, Instructional Design or a related field, AND several years of experience in a related field
Experience
In assessing and identifying learning needs and requirements
In utilizing instructional design principles and practices
In using eLearning authoring packages
In using Learning Management Systems (LMS)
In designing and developing instructor lead classroom/e-classroom and self-directed web-based training
In creating visual aids as support material for training courses
In providing advice and guidance to clients
In interpreting and applying policies and procedures
Competencies
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English or French Essential / Bilingual (English and French) an asset

Writing: Functional
Oral: Advanced
