Fawcett Mattress is growing quickly and has a
progressive respectful culture, and clean healthy work environment.
We manufacture mattresses that are made with the most sustainable, natural materials available.This is a combo role,
with about50% of your time spent helping ship our products
on a daily basis to our clients across Canada. These products range from small items like pillows to larger items like mattresses.Must be able to lift up to 75lbs multiple times a day.
You will have solid keyboard and computer skills, as we use
Shipstation
to print labels and manage shipments, along withShopify to interact with our internal team
about orders and subsequent shipments.In the shop, you'll have
music, a fun work environment
with an eye for detail and high quality work.Must be settled and residing in Victoria BC to be eligible for this position.

The other 50% of the role is to prepare and assemble mattress components
Laying up and helping produce the mattresses, including; Cutting latex foam. Cutting fabric. Sweeping & Cleaning the workspace as needed. Occasionally delivering our products in VictoriaDaily work involves heavy lifting of mattresses. Must be physically strong.
Learning how to make mattresses and other general duties to make things work in a busy shop. Learning about our products so that you effectively communicate to our clients and represent our brand in a positive manner.Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs !
Position hours are: Monday - Friday 830 - 500
No experience necessary!
Simply be hard working, bring a good attitude and be presentable.
