Major Purpose

We are seeking a Lead, Talent Acquisition to oversee and lead our recruitment efforts and help us achieve business objectives by sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates. This strategic and hands-on role requires a combination of leadership, recruiting expertise, and strong communication skills. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior leadership and the People and Culture Business Partners to understand workforce needs, hiring objectives, and business strategies.
As a People Leader, provide feedback and coaching to the recruitment team to achieve hiring goals and ensure a positive candidate experience.
Design, implement, and optimize recruitment processes, policies, and best practices.
Analyze recruitment metrics and make data-driven decisions to enhance processes.
Manage full recruitment lifecycle for assigned hiring requisitions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Source passive candidates through creative methods like social media, networking, and outreach.
Negotiate offers, manage offer rejections, and maintain candidate engagement.
Ensure a seamless candidate experience from initial outreach to post-hire follow-up.
Maintain recruitment workflows and ensure timely completion of recruitment processes.
Track key recruitment metrics and provide insights to senior leadership.
Focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout recruitment.
Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through events, social media, and external partnerships.
Develop a proactive talent pipeline strategy to meet future staffing needs.
Serve as the main point of contact for hiring managers for assigned roles on recruitment strategies and staffing needs.
Work with the People & Culture (P&C) team to support onboarding and integration of new hires.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or a combination of education and experience.
At least 5 years of experience in talent acquisition and recruitment, with 3+ years in a managerial or team lead role.
Proven experience recruiting for technical, non-technical, and senior-level positions.
Proficient in using recruitment tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, ATS) and CRM systems.
Strong interviewing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of employment law, hiring compliance, and best practices.
Language Requirements
Bilingual in English and French is required.
