Service Lead Carpenter - PDI & Service Work

Ottawa / Lanark Highlands

We're hiring an experienced Service Lead Carpenter to run PDI, deficiency, and small-scope service work for commercial GCs and residential builders.

This role suits someone who can walk units confidently, identify issues, execute clean fixes, and represent the company professionally -- often working solo or with one helper.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) deficiency work Correct builder and consultant deficiency lists Doors & hardware adjustments and installs Small scope interior finishing, trim and repairs Washroom accessories and stalls Retrofit and service calls for GCs and builders Coordinate materials, site access, and daily workflow Communicate clearly with site supers and PMs Maintain clean, documented close-outs
What We're Looking For

Strong finish / service carpentry background

Experience with PDI and deficiency resolution Ability to read drawings, schedules, and deficiency lists Comfortable working independently or leading 1 helper High attention to detail and quality Professional, client-facing attitude Valid driver's license

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour

Finish carpentry: 5 years (preferred)
