We're seeking an ambitious and results driven
Lead Sales Engineer
to spearhead our business development activities in the OEM marketplace. In this role, you will be working directly with executive management and prospective clients in executing the company's strategic vision. You will be responsible for achieving the company's business development objectives and driving revenue growth across target sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Streamline industry data in identifying prospective client bases
Identify and pursue new OEM clients
Travel to client sites to perform sales presentations, build relationships, and expand market presence
Develop an understanding of client goals and work collaboratively to propose turnkey solutions
Initiate and close complex deals to support client requirements
Support prospective and existing clients by demonstrating technical expertise
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
Meet and exceed sales targets to support the company's strategic vision
Requirements
Education: Bachelor degree in Materials, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering; P.Eng. designation an asset
Experience: 4-10 years of sales experience in related industries; experience working with small and mid-sized OEMs in the mining, construction, agriculture, or mass-transit sectors a major asset
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of thermal management concepts and application experience in SolidWorks design software
