Reporting to the Site Manager, the Project Scheduler is responsible for:


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:





1. Work Schedule Development




Create and maintain detailed work schedules for scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling activities.

Break down project scopes into measurable tasks, durations, and dependencies using established scheduling methodologies.

Ensure planned activities align with contractual milestones and client deliverables.

2. Resource & Material Coordination




Forecast and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment based on project requirements and timelines.

Coordinate with planning, procurement, and field supervision to ensure readiness ahead of scheduled tasks.

Identify potential resource bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.

3. Progress Tracking & Reporting




Monitor actual versus planned progress, analyzing deviations and impacts to project schedules.

Produce and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly progress updates for project leadership and client representatives.

Support earned value reporting, productivity analysis, and change tracking.

4. Coordination & Communication




Work closely with project managers, planners, and field supervisors to align access activities with other trades.

Facilitate look-ahead planning sessions and coordination meetings to prevent schedule conflicts and delays.

Communicate schedule risks, dependencies, and recovery plans to stakeholders.

5. Reporting & Documentation




Prepare and distribute schedule reports highlighting critical paths, float analysis, and progress trends.

Maintain historical records and lessons learned for continuous improvement and benchmarking.

Support management reviews and client progress meetings with accurate, data-driven updates.




Requirements:







Education & Training




Bachelor's degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.

Equivalent combination of education and field scheduling experience will be considered.

Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.

Experience




Minimum 3-8 years of experience in project scheduling or coordination within industrial or construction environments.

Strong understanding of access, scaffolding, or multi-trade coordination activities.

Experience working on projects with tight deadlines, phased milestones, and high safety standards.

Skills & Competencies




Advanced knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling and schedule logic analysis.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in tracking progress and dependencies.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.

Familiarity with construction workflows, contract deliverables, and change management processes.

Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and adapt to dynamic field conditions

Additional Requirements



Must be eligible to work in controlled or high-security industrial environments. Ability to obtain and maintain

security clearance / site access authorization

(e.g., Controlled Goods, site-specific background checks, drug and alcohol screening). Familiarity with radiological work controls and contamination prevention practices. Working knowledge of

ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable)

principles. Understanding of

dose tracking, contamination control zones,

and

radiation work permits (RWPs).

Ability to interpret

radiological postings

and apply required PPE and boundaries. Strong procedural discipline and attention to regulatory documentation requirements. Ability to work in highly regulated environments requiring strong procedural compliance, documentation accuracy, and teamwork.
