This is an ideal position for a driven

Project Scheduler

who is currently seeking opportunities to further build upon their experience and knowledge by gaining valuable exposure to a rapidly growing company. This role is responsible for development of baseline, master & detailed schedules and the oversight of all scheduling activities, as well as providing status updates, forecasts, and progress reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:



Development of baseline schedule, master & detailed schedules using well-defined and properly sequenced work activities Oversee all project scheduling activities and provide required status updates, forecasts, and reports as necessary Develop project schedule layouts in conjunction with the project team, including critical path analysis, alternate schedules and progress measurement of the schedule Review/analysis of Vendor and Subcontractor monthly updates to the schedule Providing progress updates & verifying that the updates are an accurate representation of the work accomplished Contribute to the organization through other duties and projects as required and determined by management Identify major milestones, critical approvals and long lead procurement items Support ongoing projects by working with the project managers and discipline leads on project status, identifying opportunities for improvement, delays and areas where additional concentration would be required Assign resources (cost, labour or material) to activities and develop cash flow reports Recommend work around plans to keep projects on track Identify major milestones, critical approvals and long lead procurement items Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications/Positional Requirements:



Engineering Diploma/Degree or equivalent Minimum five (5) years of construction scheduling experience Advanced Primavera P6 & Microsoft Project knowledge & skills is required Field planning & MEP scheduling experience is considered an asset Quantitative skills with ability to design complex spreadsheet solutions, database queries, and other analytical tools. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong project management, technical and analytical skills Effective communication skills

Schedule:



8 Hour Shift Day Shift Monday to Friday
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
