The Position
Work with a talented and diverse team developing messaging communications solutions for the API economy. Be part of a team working to innovate the channels we bring to market by partnering across OpenText and with third party technology providers to develop and enhance a leading communications platform service.
The Opportunity
: Compelling opportunity to work in the technology space within Digital Experience Management, developing and enhancing enterprise messaging solutions as part of a Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS). Develop requirements to deliver what is fast becoming a mandatory communications technology in the B2B and B2C markets. You will own the product strategy and roadmaps to drive new revenue. Work cross functionally with product development on service requirements, sales and customers to understand market needs for new and emerging services, and operations and support to deliver best in class service and support.
You Are Great At
:

  • Establishing the product roadmap, communicating your line of business vision internally, and presenting your strategic direction to customers and prospects
  • Discovering and validating market problems
  • Understanding how customers leverage communications services platforms to streamline their business processes
  • Analyzing the competitive landscape
  • Collaborating with key customers, analysts, and members of the sales and solutions consulting organization to gather requirements for future releases and feedback on current releases

What It Takes:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems or like degree, MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of five years product management or software product team experience, experience with SaaS services/products a plus.
  • Strong customer orientation and comfort in sales situations.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle process and methodologies
  • Ability to make independent decisions and make suggestions to upper management in relation to business services, and processes.
  • Accustomed to working in an international environment involving multiple time zones
  • Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Email, SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, etc., a plus.
