Working in collaboration with F&O Capital Renewal Planning Group, they are responsible for managing this plan under the guidance of the AVP, Asset Management & Operations.The Lead, Infrastructure Renewal actively collaborates with cross-functional Trades, Infrastructure, and Maintenance/Operations teams as a technical specialist in project management, business analytics, cost control and analysis, as well as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics reporting functions. Leveraging the Enterprise Work Management System in conjunction with the Infrastructure Information and Analytics group within F&O, they provide essential data to key stakeholders, including Government, University Administration and senior leadership within F&O.Duties

  • Engage in close collaboration and coordination with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve improved maintenance and infrastructure renewal outcomes within an integrated delivery portfolio;
  • Facilitate the process of cross-portfolio input, triage, and prioritization, ensuring effective alignment with the Capital Renewal Rolling Plan and maintenance planning efforts;
  • Collaborates closely with the Infrastructure Analytics team to develop work order cost analysis and project control;
  • Monitors service request and cycle time metrics, ensuring that service requests align with the standards set in the Maintenance Plan;
  • Collaborate in the strategic planning of the 4-year Infrastructure Maintenance Program rolling plan and its integration into the 15-year Asset Management Plan;
  • Efficiently manage the coordination and planning of all internal F&O Multi-Trades Projects, collaborating with the Estimates Shop and Trades Supervisors; and
  • Be a champion for change and leading efforts towards continuous improvement within the Asset Management & Operations (AMO) department and the broader F&O.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A post-secondary degree in a related discipline, a Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in a related speciality is preferred;
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and Project Management Professional (PMP) designations are required;
  • 10+ years of directly relevant experience in building design, condition assessments, construction, project management, and operations and maintenance;
  • Demonstrated experience in mechanical, electrical, architectural, and structural building systems, along with comprehensive knowledge of applicable maintenance standards and building codes and regulations;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); and
  • Demonstrated experience in project and financial reporting.
