About the Role We're hiring a skilled lead installer to take charge of our high-efficiency heat pump installs. You'll be the point person on-site -- laying out jobs, managing the day-to-day, mentoring apprentices, and ensuring top-quality work every time. But this is more than just an installer role. We're also looking for someone ready to grow into a crew leader or installation manager role over time. Someone who can help standardize systems, train new hires, and take ownership as we add more teams. What You'll Be Doing Lead full Mitsubishi heat pump installations (ducted & ductless) Lay out job scopes and direct 1-2 apprentices/helpers Run line sets, wire controls, route drains -- clean and professional installs, always to code Coordinate with electrical contractors and homeowners Capture detailed jobsite photos/notes (we use CompanyCam) Spot and solve problems on the fly Train and mentor junior installers Provide input on install SOPs, inventory needs, and scheduling improvements What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of HVAC install experience -- heat pumps preferred Comfortable running a jobsite with minimal supervision Confident with layout, refrigerant piping, and startup procedures Strong mechanical mindset and attention to detail Respect for code, safety, and craftsmanship Comfortable leading others and giving clear direction Valid driver's license Why Join Orange HVAC Profit Sharing: As we grow, so should your earnings.
