As a Lead Hand , you'll be a key part of our construction and service teams, ensuring top-quality work, mentoring crew members, and keeping projects on track. While our busiest months are April to November, this is a full-time position with opportunities for year-round work, including a paid winter break and flexible off-season roles. Whether it's assisting with pre-season preparations, training, or special projects, we ensure our team has c ontinued employment options throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee crew members, ensuring quality workmanship, efficiency, and safety.
• Handle pool openings, closings, equipment installations, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Identify and resolve challenges on-site, ensuring smooth project completion.
• Maintain clear communication with the office, clients, and the project manager while keeping accurate records.
• Organize materials, tools, and workspaces for maximum efficiency.
• Uphold and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring best practices are followed.
• Provide professional, friendly service and ensure clients are informed throughout the process.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years of construction experience, ideally in a trade like carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or landscaping.
• 2 or more years of leadership experience, managing crews and projects from start to finish.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow project plans.
• Strong problem-solving skills, organization, and attention to detail.
• A team player with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
• Valid driver's license & reliable transportation.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Experience with power tools, site supervision, and working with pools or water systems is an asset!

Compensation & Benefits

• Full Time Position
• Competitive hourly pay at $29 to $35 per hour (plus up to $5,000 in bonuses).
