The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Crew lead/ Foreman to oversee residential and commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned carpenter who takes pride in craftsmanship, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to lead a crew.

What You'll Do

Lead and supervise a team of carpenters and labourers on-site Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily work scopes to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications Perform and oversee framing, drywall, finishing, and installation of cabinetry, doors, windows, and fixtures Ensure all work meets Homestar's high standards of quality and safety Manage site organization, material handling, and subcontractor coordination Communicate effectively with project managers, trades, and clients Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members

What We're Looking For

Strong experience in residential and commercial carpentry/renovations Proven leadership skills with experience supervising crews Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job specifications (asset) Red Seal Carpenter certification considered a strong asset Valid Class 5 driver's license and clear criminal record check Physically fit, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented Reliable, motivated, and able to balance hands-on work with team management
