We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment that fosters student engagement and academic success. As an Educator, you will develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs. Your commitment to student development and ability to inspire learners will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, including tests, projects, and presentations
Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic progress and behavioral issues
Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends
Collaborate with other educators to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments
Experience
One of these must apply:
1. diplomas or degrees in child and youth care
2. diplomas or degrees in recreation and leisure services,
3. members in good standing with the Ontario College of Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required; Master's degree preferred
4. currently enrolled in an Early Childhood Education program
