Job Title Lead Developer (GCS)



What is the Opportunity?

In this role, you will learn how Security Design Reviews are conducted on RBC Solution Architectures, then work on a team to lead the integration of our Security Design Review workflow into the existing RBC Architecture Process. Our Security Design Review workflow tool is written in Python & Django with a MS SQL database, and it will be driven by APIs from the existing RBC Architecture Process. Once completed, our workflow will be enhanced to allow teams to select pre-approved patterns as well as provide future capabilities like an automated Threat Modeling Triage Process. In the future we will be introducing AI capabilities that have patent potential on this Threat Model Triage Process.

What will you do?

Decouple our existing application into a 3-tier architecture (Presentation, Service and Data tier) and integrate our solution through API into the RBC Business Architecture Process (Athena)

Create reporting functionality that charts ongoing trends about control gaps and strengths across Enterprise technology projects to generate risk insights for decision makers.

Enhance application outputs to codify control gaps into automated scorecard and downstream DevOps pipelines and processes.

Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Security Consulting applications and tools.

Consult on business assessment and requirements analysis processes, for the development of hardware and operating systems.

Perform complex application programming activities, including coding, testing, debugging, documenting, maintaining, and modifying complex applications programs.

Coordinate coding, testing, implementation and documentation of application solutions.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Python / Django

SQL

SWAGGER

Experience with modern dev-ops tools and process e.g. GitHub, UrbanCode and Jenkins.

Using Security Testing Tools (Checkmarx, NexusIQ)

Nice to Have

ReactJS
