Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled
Senior Creative Content Designer
to lead the creation and execution of compelling visual content across digital, social, and in-venue platforms. As a key member of our global creative team, you will help bring the Illuminarium brand to life through thoughtful design, captivating photography, and dynamic video content that enhances brand awareness, supports business growth, and deepens audience engagement.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both strategic planning and hands-on production -- blending design, content creation, and social media management in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Brand Creative
Create visually stunning branded assets including digital ads, venue screens, signage, and social content aligned with Illuminarium's brand guidelines.
Content Capture & Production
Plan, capture, and edit high-quality photography and video content for campaigns, teaser reels, behind-the-scenes stories, and evergreen brand assets.
Social Media Management
Lead the Instagram and TikTok strategy for the Toronto market.
Schedule and publish content tailored to local programming and marketing initiatives.
Community Engagement
Actively monitor and respond to comments, tags, and DMs to maintain a responsive and engaging presence.
Cross-Functional Creative Support
Design promotional materials and B2B visual assets including pitch decks, sales collateral, and private event materials.
Content Calendar Management
Maintain and contribute to a shared global content calendar: 3 shared weekly posts + 1 unique post per market.
Quarterly Creative Shoots
Participate in seasonal content capture days, supporting shoot planning, directing talent, and operating cameras on location.
Must-Have Technical Skills
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)
Minimum 3 years experience in Figma for layout & collaborative design
Minimum 3 years of experience in social media account management and content creation
DSLR or mirrorless camera experience, especially in low-light/event settings
Fluency in TikTok and Instagram formats, trends, and storytelling
Familiarity with content scheduling tools like Meta Business Suite, Later, or Hootsuite
File management via Google Drive/Dropbox
Nice to Haves
Experience in immersive entertainment, live events, museums, or cultural attractions
Skills in motion graphics/animation (e.g. After Effects)
Confidence in directing talent on set or during live shoots
Ability to storyboard or script branded video content
