We are MAKRs - Our common goal, our passion, is to create global communities connected through play and social experiences. The MAKR Group is comprised of three brands:
Waterplay
, a global splash pad provider;
Parkworks
, a Western Canadian park space supplier; and
Wekid Mfg.
, Canada's most playfully professional steel manufacturing team.
With tens of thousands of play and park space installations worldwide, we've helped millions of people of all ages and abilities access fun, inviting, and "go-backable" recreation spaces. What makes us jump out of bed every morning is knowing we're integral to creating these meaningful places, and we need people like you to help us build them!
WHO YOU ARE...
You're the kind of creative who sees possibilities everywhere and has the communication skills (and confidence) to bring them to life. Words, visuals, digital platforms, email campaigns... you get how they all work together, and you love putting them to work in fresh, unexpected ways.
Detail-obsessed and deadline-driven, you juggle multiple projects like it's no big deal. Organization is your superpower, collaboration is your happy place, and building great relationships is second nature.
You inject fun into all aspects of your work and invite others to do the same. We're a different kind of company, and we're looking for a different kind of individual to join our team!
WHAT YOU'LL DO...
At MAKR, great things happen when the right opportunities reach the right people at the right time, and as the
Lead Coordinator
, you help make that happen! This role serves as the front door to our sales pipeline, where you'll identify, research, qualify, and clearly define opportunities before they move on to Sales or Business Development.
Reporting to the Marketing Operations Manager, you'll work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Business Development to research bid opportunities, qualify inbound inquiries, and ask the right questions to turn interest into action. By keeping our leads clean, qualified, and well documented, you help MAKR stay focused on the opportunities that matter most.
Your responsibilities will include:
Monitor, source, and identify potential project opportunities through bid services, procurement portals, and public Request for Proposal (RFP) platforms
Research projects to assess scope, relevance, geographic fit, budget indicators, and anticipated timelines
Qualify inbound leads from website forms, email inquiries, and phone calls using the BANT framework
Conduct outbound outreach by phone and email to gather missing details or validate information
Accurately track all interactions, research findings, and outcomes in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Assign fully qualified Marketing Qualified Leads to Sales or Business Development with clear summaries and recommended next steps
Disqualify leads that do not meet criteria or place them into appropriate marketing nurture workflows
Actively monitor and nurture leads for re-qualification signals and timing indicators
Maintain clean, accurate CRM data while following established lead management workflows
Build and maintain dashboards to track lead volume, quality, conversion, and sourcing effectiveness
Support continuous improvement of lead processes, including automation, scoring, and feedback loops
Share ongoing insights with Marketing, Sales, and Business Development on lead quality, trends, and pipeline health
