Lead Cook - Green Bay Bible Camp

Location: 1449 Green Bay Road West Kelowna, BC

Reports To: Food Services Manager

We're looking for a Lead Cook who is passionate about food, hospitality, and ministry to join our dynamic team. If you love creating delicious meals and serving others in a Christ-centered environment, this might be your calling.

As Lead Cook, you'll work closely with our Food Services Manager to ensure that campers, staff, and guests are well-fed and cared for. You'll help prepare, and serve meals with excellence, joy, and a heart for ministry.

This role includes irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to support the rhythm of camp programming. While the schedule varies, we aim to work with your availability and offer a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve nutritious meals for guest groups of various sizes Assist in inventory management Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen Lead and support our discipleship training staff, part-time staff, and adult volunteers Adapt to changing schedules and dietary needs with grace Model excellent hospitality
Who You Are

Experienced in cooking for groups (camp, church, school or commercial kitchen experience) Organized, adaptable, and calm under pressure A team player with leadership skills Food Safe certifications

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week
