Nous recherchons un Ingenieur Principal en Commande hautement qualifie et motive pour rejoindre notre equipe chez GE Vernova Grid Solutions. Le candidat ideal aura une solide experience en ingenierie des systemes de controle, avec une specialisation dans les systemes de transmission d'energie. L'Ingenieur Principal en Commande sera responsable de la conception, du developpement et de la mise en oeuvre de systemes de controle avances pour nos Systemes de Transmission en Courant Alternatif Flexible (FACTS), assurant une performance et une fiabilite optimales.



We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Controls Engineer to join our team at GE Vernova Grid Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in control systems engineering, with a focus on power transmission systems. The Lead Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced control systems for our Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS), ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Diriger la conception, le developpement et la mise en oeuvre de systemes de controle pour les dispositifs FACTS, y compris la production, la transmission et la distribution d'energie. Developper des algorithmes de controle et des logiciels pour le controle et la surveillance en temps reel des systemes d'energie. Collaborer avec des equipes transversales, y compris des ingenieurs electriciens, des developpeurs de logiciels et des chefs de projet, pour assurer l'integration reussie des systemes de controle. Effectuer la modelisation, la simulation et l'analyse des systemes pour optimiser les strategies de controle et ameliorer les performances du systeme. Fournir des conseils techniques et un mentorat aux ingenieurs juniors et soutenir leur developpement professionnel. Participer aux tests et a la validation des systemes de controle, en veillant a la conformite avec les normes et reglementations de l'industrie. Depanner et resoudre les problemes techniques complexes lies aux systemes de controle. Se tenir au courant des dernieres avancees en ingenierie des systemes de controle et en technologie des systemes d'energie. Preparer la documentation technique, y compris les specifications de conception, les plans de test et les manuels d'utilisation. Soutenir les activites de developpement commercial en fournissant une expertise technique et en contribuant au developpement de propositions.

Qualifications requises

Baccalaureat en genie electrique, en ingenierie des systemes de controle ou dans un domaine connexe. Une maitrise est preferee. Minimum de 8 ans d'experience en ingenierie des systemes de controle, avec une specialisation dans les systemes de transmission d'energie.

Essential Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of control systems for FACTS devices, including power generation, transmission, and distribution. Develop control algorithms and software for real-time control and monitoring of power systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to ensure the successful integration of control systems. Conduct system modeling, simulation, and analysis to optimize control strategies and improve system performance. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support their professional development. Participate in the testing and validation of control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to control systems. Stay current with the latest advancements in control systems engineering and power systems technology. Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals. Support business development activities by providing technical expertise and contributing to proposal development.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, control systems engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in control systems engineering, with a focus on power transmission systems.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $88,600.00 and $147,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.


Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
