Job Description

Looking for a personable professional with 5+ years experience in home renovations to join our team.

Position Requirements

Strong communication, job coordination, organizational and supervisory skills.

Extensive rough and finish carpentry skills.

Knowledge of a broad range of construction methods and techniques.

A basic understanding of all trades relevant to the project.

The ability to interact and communicate well with employees, trades, inspectors and the customer.

Read and interpret project details, including all plans and specifications, scope of work, subcontractor agreements and Change Orders. Bring questions, discrepancies, and unusual conditions to the attention of Production Manager.

Understand the scope of the work and discuss all requests for additional work (Change Orders) with Production Manager.

Complete Daily Logs, To Do's, photos and other components (when implemented) in Builder Trend.

Supervise all job-related construction, requesting help as required and anticipating the need for additional support so that they can be scheduled in a timely fashion.

Report late subs, material & scheduling problems, maintaining a weekly To Do List and for keeping the Production Manager informed of job status.

Purchase and order materials, except as specified. Plan ahead for timely delivery and use the vendor's delivery services whenever possible.

Manage time to ensure that there is sufficient time each evening for end-of-day procedures, such as clean-up, debriefing and Builder Trend updating

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
